a day in the life of fall

in south central kentucky {october 23, 2010}

a color study…

Delicious autumn!  My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird

I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.”

fall scenes

fall is interesting in south central kentucky.

you get some of the cooler weather here & there

{but much more temperate than other states i’ve resided}

with changing foliage & piles of leaves…

and yet, we’re still harvesting gorgeous heirloom tomatoes whilst carving pumpkins!

{with random jackalope sightings…stay tuned for them in the shoppe}

that’s about all i have time for today

i’ve got to finish up this special order paper mache turkey…

but i had to tell you about this recipe…

TRY THIS: the perfect fall breakfast dish:: cinnamon baked french toast {via the pioneer woman}

have a great day friends!

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf’s a flower.”
~ Albert Camus
