chicago farmers markets

oh joy! 

one of the highlights of living in an urban setting are farmers markets

& chicago has a ton of them!

i hit the grand opening of the daley plaza market yesterday

& what a treat…scottish singer kt tunstall kicked-off the start

of the 29th annual market by playing a few songs

& talking about her environmental causes…

it’s a tad early for all the fantastic fruit & veg…

but i got some kick-ass asparagus

& they had lots of pretty flowers to browse.
